Nice used Wehrmacht summer tunic metal breast eagle. This type of metal breast eagle was specially for the white summer tunis which got dirty very fast.
So it was easier to remove this type of metal breast eagle for cleaning to tunic. An embroidered eagle would be destroyed fast with cleaning the tunic.
