Very nice and very rare to find!
This 44,2 cm x 44,2 cm silk or imitation silk scarf is an absolutely genuine souvenir of the 1936 Olympic Games that were held in Nazi Germany in Berlin and Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The scarf has the Olympic Rings printed plus the flags of the participating nations. The Nazi flag shows that this item was made for the 1936 Olympic Games. A very nice piece of Olimpic and Third Reich memorabilia in excellent condition and comes together with an original Olympic Games cloth badge and photograph of the former sportman and owner of the scarve and badge
The ‘Deutscher Reichsbund für Leibesübungen’ (DRL), the Nazi sports organization used a national eagle with down-swept wings and a mobile swastika superimposed on its breast. These today very hard to find pieces of insignia were used during the 1936 XI. Olympic Games by the German Olympic participants. The size 7,8 cm x 7,8 cm.
These patches are hard to find!
