Former Wehrmacht M40 Helmet as Pisspot/Po
After the war there where thousands of German helmets left behind in the Netherlands.
And shortly after the war people were in short of everything, so meany of these German helmets were striped and air holes were closed and legs and a gripe were attached and then the helmet were enamelled and sold by the Dutch store "Hema" as pisspot/po, but they were also made as colander.
This is a very nice sample of one of those helmets.
Very nice display item in very good condition.
Very rare to find these days!!!
