Nice use Wehrmacht M44 assault backpack
Late war designed to replace the much more expansive to make “Assault frame”.
Named at its back side “Werner R.”
The straps at the front would holt the “zeltbahn” (shelter quarter) and the assault backpack would be attached to the combat Y strap (Koppel Tragenstel)
Overal a very nice M44 assauld backpack in used but very good condition.
