Rare late war wooden Wehrmacht “PAK 3,7cm Steel Granate” transport case. Special designed stick grenade (rocket) for the PAK 35/36 (Panzer Abwehr Kanonne) the PAK 35/36 was in 1941 not able to knock out the Soviet “T34” tank becauce the 3,7cm grenade could not penetrate its armour. There for the Germans designed the 3,7cm stick grenade which would be fired with the PAK 35/36 anti tank gun.
Officially these rockets where transported in a steel container. But this wooden transport case was the late war replacement for the steel container.
The case comes in its original camo paint and text and original paper instruction label.
Overal a fantastic and rare to find case in used condition. Great display item!
