Nice and very interesting Wehrmacht (2th model) Wehrpass (number 24366) on name of
“Wilhelm Steinherr, Corporal Military Railway Engineers”
With original Army Certificate of discarge 26-6-42
and Postcard by the Munich denazification authoraties, stating that he is not listed as war criminal 1-3-47
The Wehrpass is dated 12-3-38
Entiteld to: Medal of the 1st October “1938”
and the Winter War Medal
He served Aug 39-March 40 with the Eisenbahn Stellw. Kp.13 and April 40-May with the Eisenbahn Stellw. Kp. 13 and 183 all railway signsl box construction abd maintainance units. Sept 39 active in Poland, May-June 40 active in the Netherlands, Belgium and France. Juli 40-May 41 his unit was based in Belgium before it was withdraw to Germany and sent to Russia in October 41
He took part inbtwo demolition and blocking specialists training courses.
26-6-42 he was discharged from the Army, medically unfit for military service.
According to an entry on page 28 of the Wehrpass, he took part in the campaign against Austria from 11-3-38 till 19-3-38. This means he is also entitled to the medal of the 13th March 1938 Rare units!
