Special Item: US Flint-lock rifle / Percussion Springfield 1832
This beautiful 'musket' or Flint-lock rifle was produced in 1832, the period between the Revolutionary War of the late 1700s and the Civil War of the late 1800s. It is nicely marked Springfield 1832 (US) and has several maker marks on it. The cock and trigger are both in functioning order. Whether or not it still shoots, we're not certain though. The tabs for the rifle sling are both in good condition. There's some minor pitting on top, near the cocking system. This used to be a Flint-lock operating rifle and was converted to a percussion rifle.
The rifle measures 135 cm in length and is free to own in the Netherlands, due to it being produced before 1870.
