US WW2 Veteran War Trophy Adolf Hitler Buste
An amazing piece of history, the very big size heavy gun metal made buste of “Adolf Hitler”
Made by famous artist sculpture “Elmar Dietz” marked. “42” centimeter high
Brought home by a US WW2 veteran “Anthony F. DiSimone, 32713012 T43 44O” a US Tank crew member (Tank Mecanic) Anthony landed in Italy from where they did get to Austria where the bust was found, it had been broken off its pedestal. The bust was heavy tortured by the veterans with several bayonet cuts in his nose, 2 bullet hits.
These beating and torture damages are ofcource very understandable done by the American soldiers from his unit who captured this Hitler buste in Austria
Anthony rescued the bust claming he wanted to use it as a pisspot and carryed the bust in his duffelbag for the rest of the war on units vehicle (tank)
Overal a fantastic piece of history and American War trophy in very good condition.
