This T90 Japanese Army Helmet is an outstanding example, and one of the nicest we have ever owned. The exterior retains over 90 percent of the original matte olive paint finish.
The front of this helmet retains its original star emblem, with an untouched patina that leaves no doubt that the star is original to the helmet. Inside, this T90 Japanese Army Helmet is complete with its original leather liner and webbing chin strap. The liner is complete and shows little in any wear. The chinstrap and webbing suspension components are also complete, and the original draw string remains intact. In the rear of the skirt is a painted Japanese character. Japanese helmets are hard to find, and in this condition are truly rare. This piece was very likely brought back to the US as a veteran souvenir.
The back site of the helmet has a bullet hit (penetrated the steel) Overal a very nice helmet in excellent condition.
