Third Reich D.V.G. Westmark NSDAP Membership Pin- The D.V.G. “Deutscher Volks Genossen Bund” (German Fellow-Countrymen League)- This was an organization of ethnic Germans from the Alsace-Lorraine region of France who sought unification with Germany. They copied the NSDAP membership badge but reversed the colors. It is a die struck, alloy badge with multi-colored enamel work. The pin depicts a red pebbled swastika on a white backing that is encircled by: "D.V.G. Westmark (Lothr.) on a solid black backing. The reverse shows a soldered well-working pin, to the back. The back is also marked “W. Redo Saarlautern”. The enamel work is near perfect! It measures approximately 1 inch in diameter. Nice badge in very good condition.
