WW2 period transfer decals for combat helmets. Made by the well known firm of (Eduard), Ed Strache Warnsdorf. complete with no tears or major flaking. Very difficult to find and a nice display piece for a headgear collector.
Usually found on M16 and M18 Transitional helmets. The eagle decals are mounted on the paper sheet in a reverse image so that when the reverse of the sheet is applied to the helmet the obverse of the decal will be facing outward.
Decal has printed manufacturers name and location, "Ed. Strache Warnsdorf". The reverse side of the decal has four bright silver foil, shield shaped
The decal is in overall excellent condition.
We recommend not trying to apply them to a helmet - it is unlikely to work! Just as display item in a helmet collection.
