Very nice untouched Wehrmacht M40 SD helmet with shrapnel damage. Never being cleaned
The shrapnel fragment went through the steel and liner, which has a large blood stain.
Helmet is maker code marked “Q” which is “Quist, Eslingen” in size “64” its original liner in size “56/57”
and is complete with its original liner string and leather helmet strap. Helmet has 98% of its nice rough field/grey camo paint and the decal is 80% present. Overall a fantastic untouched have seen combat helmet in used but in very good condition.
Great in a helmet collection.
