Fantastic untouched early Luftwaffe M40 SD helmet with second model aluminum liner (probably a leftover from the M35 model helmets. But 100% original to this helmet. And the 98% original Luftwaffe camo paint is also early and more shiny as the later rougher structure paint.
The maker code is “Q” which is “Quist, Eslingen” in size “64” the liner is size “57” and comes with a original liner string and a nice smooth leather helmet strap, which is nicely marked aswell. Overall a very nice Luftwaffe M40 SD helmet in used but in very good condition. Perfect on a mannequin or as part of a nice helmet collection!
